NPCs of Note:

Stone spent the better part of the previous day and night with Mongoose who led him through the maze of the underground, walking past the Dark Market of the Underground.  She showed him various camping locations of something monstrous with large claws that had been working its way towards the city from the Arcadian Forests. Warning him that word was they were coming for the Oz Guardians.

The next day Stone spent the morning at the garage, then getting food. Qin Long was at her gallery. The rest of the Guardians were at the base on a conference call discussing the legal actions and results. That's when the tower was attacked by Wendell, Vulture and two allies.  All the Guardians came to the fight, and eventually calmer heads prevailed and the fighting subsided.

Wendell explained that the Silver Tree, the thing he guarded, had been killed when the heart was taken from it by a woman in Commander armor. This was the name that Max Mars had used when he was a villain before the Terminus Invasion of the 90s. With her was another Cryptid, or Stormer, with super speed. That led Wendell to fear that the Guardians had betrayed him.

With emergency services and AEGIS arriving the Cryptids left, with help, and AEGIS helped with a cover story of an attack by former FOE member looking for retribution named "Captain Destroyo."

The Elephant, with Mars confirming his findings, discovered that "Stormer" radiation permeated the city. Mars will work on a proximity detector that is more accurate when close up on identifying Stormers.
